Today started out on a very low note. I awoke feeling abnormally well rested, "this is too good to be true" I thought. It was too good to be true, I was so well rested because it was 6:53! I needed to leave for today's college fair in seven minutes! Somehow the stars aligned and this outfit emerged from the mountainous pile on my floor. What's this? I actually feel like I look nice today?! Yes! Despite forgoing all makeup, save for a swipe or two of mascara, I'm feeling good. Finally. I wish I could say that this college fair was worth scrambling for, but it wasn't. Just a lot of standing around and repeating "no, we don't offer a nursing degree, we're a fine arts college, see, it says that right there on my sign." Work has been stressful lately, I'm counting down the days until the end of my travel season in December. I can't wait! Did I mention it snowed the other day?

People always say "there's no such thing as a stupid question" however, I beg to differ. Whenever I've closed down my shop (a smoothie shop in a fitness center) people will walk up to me as I'm counting the money from the till and ask me "are you still open?" I might add that I as I am counting the money, I'm standing behind a huge "CLOSED" sign. Sigh. Sometimes I wonder about humanity.

Ha! I get it though! In the admissions office we seriously get the dumbest questions, mostly about medical degrees! weird!

Hehe working with high school students all day I can also say they are not the smartest bunch sometimes!!

I work at a liberal arts university art gallery - we get all sorts of crazy questions/requests...I guess it comes with the territory of working with the public!

I hate those rushed mornings, but once in a while, I really come up with a great outfit by just whipping things on... my intuition takes over rather than overthinking an outfit. Loving the leopard tights - I've had a pair I found at an outlet store for $1 and never worn them... you've inspired me to dig them out and try!
