Tights: TjMaxx (4.99)
Shoes: Mia (very old)
Necklace: Leviticus via Adored Austin giveaway
Monday has been a cruel, cruel mistress lately. No matter how early I go to bed, or wake up, I'm still not with it. Case in point: the original plan I had for this Cosette dress from Delightfully Tacky was way more interesting, unfortunately, it just didn't work. So I went the simple route and added this ruffle skirt for some length. The priority was to just get out of the house on time, sometimes getting to work takes precedence over outfit bliss!

Below are the three other Delightful ladies who have already styled the outfit:

Thank you to those of you that left me questions in my last post, I'll be answering them further into the week. My beau just got home from a long day in Vermont, time to make pizza!
Have A Great Tuesday Night!

I can't believe that skirt is from Target, it looks exactly like the UO skirt! Awesome deal.
Aren't you in the Northwest? Where's your snow?? It just blizzarded here in IL :(
Cute outfit! Love the hair!!
Tiffany, funny you should notice the lack of snow, it's been in the upper 40's lately, which has melted almost everything. I think we'll be getting your snow tonight though!
I love seeing how all of you have worn it already, it looks great on you! :)

Love it!! You may think this is a simple route, but it looks stunning. That skirt is super cute, and the way the tights pick up the maroon in the dress is great! I hadn't really noticed that touch of color when I saw the dress on the other girls!

Looooooove that the color of the tights pick up the maroon in the top. Excellent.

your hair is adorable- it reminds me of the little harajuku perfume figurines!
i think your outfit looks great! i would never guess that it was thrown together in the dreaded monday rush. the ruffle skirt is so cute with it, and i love the tights too. ~joelle
Interesting that you all styled it with a skirt! Is it quite short? I love the ruffle skirt, such a pretty texture.
Hello Birdy: Yes the dress is very short, the bottom of which can be seen in the other girls photos. I was the only one to cover it with another skirt to add length, since I wore it to work I needed a couple of extra inches. I had originally planned to wear it with shorts, but that plan failed miserably!
Love the colors of this outfit. And good call on re-skirting! I often do the same. You didn't lose the beauty of the dress at all, and the flirty skirt you wore is so fun with the lovely, subtle colors of the dress.
Your hair rocks like that!
And I'm really enjoying watching the traveling pieces make their way around your wardrobes :)

I always love what you do with your ruffle skirt. After seeing some of the ways you styled yours, I was brave enough to buy one of my own.
