That joke isn't funny anymore

sometimes I run out of ideas for post titles, and I'm forced to refer to Smiths songs.
Sweatshirt: J.Crew outlet (15.00) Oxford: J.Crew outlet (20.00? old)
Shorts: Forever 21 (19.00) Tights: TjMaxx (4.99) Necklace: J.Crew (14.00)
I like knowing that I'm not the only weirdo (kidding!) out there still obsessed with Barbie, and I agree: I think they could have allowed for a little more voluptuousness with Joan. And where is Peggy? I'm avoiding the subject at hand here, which is how my outfit seemed good this morning, and then by mid-day, I really didn't like it anymore. The main issue I had with it is that I really wanted to wear flats, but couldn't find any shoes in my closet that looked good.
See how my feet are cut off? Yeah.
The light at five o'clock today was so so so pretty. I love this time of year, when nature starts to give off hints that it's going to warm up soon: the birds have been noticeably more vocal lately and the days are getting longer! I can't wait to put away my winter coat! What are you most looking forward to with the change of seasons?

I love the light in these photos! I'm soooo looking forward to wearing skirts without tights right now - I'm so sick of tights.

I know you get this all the time darling, but you really do have the most FANTASTIC hair. Your hair is what my hair has little fantasy dreams about being some day.

The lighting is beautiful. Very ethereal. Did you get some new septum jewelry? I love it :)

oh the lighting in your photos are perfect! I love when the days get longer, and I don't have to think about grabbing a coat as I run outside or second guess if my feet will be cold if I wear flats.

P.S. I love barbie as well my mother had to force me to give my barbies to my little sister when I 16, my sister was 5 at the time and to this day she hates those dolls.

I am waiting for those nights where it seems to stay light forever! Living in the NW on summer nights is the best...

Walking by the lake and realizing that it is like...9:15!

Thanks for all the hair tutorials...I have been rockin' the top knot ALL THE TIME!

Thanks for the inspiration!

Im most looking forward to seeing my legs again, I miss them, and they miss the sun. My winter whitness is blinding!

Super cute outfit, I love the way you incorporate sweatshirts into your wardrobe.

Bare legs and bare toes. (or maybe bear legs and bear toes... not as enjoyable in spring) I wore a coat yesterday but today I'm not wearing tights and I'm not wearing a coat. Its really disgusting out in nashville though.

Do you dye your hair? Or is that natural? I've admired your chunky highlights a lot and I'm just curious.

Do you remember the Jem dolls from the 80s? They were taller than Barbie, had tummies and were way more svelte and curvy. She couldn't share any of Barbie's clothes - i kind of wish that Joan's Barbie had been approached that way. They still look like amazing collectibles though.
(apologies-I've been reading for awhile but don't think I've commented before. Sorry for the randomness of commenting on Barbies...)

Your hair is incredible. So jealous! Love this outfit, too. Looks comfortable and chic- something that is harder to do than it looks!
