Daylight

I love the College that I work at, but sometimes working at a small school can feel like going to a family reunion everysingleday, and today has been one of those days! I was so happy to get home and just sit with my cats (one of my favorite after-work relaxation methods). It was windy beyond belief this afternoon, which spelled potential disaster if I bought my tripod outside, so just a few indoors pictures for today.

Top: H&M ($25)
Jeans: BDG (gift)
Necklaces: Courtesy of Noble Town Vintage

Something that always brightens my spirits is mail! Well, as long as it's not bills. So you can imagine my excitement when i walked up to my mailbox and there was a package waiting for me. Sarah from Noble Town Vintage was so sweet to send me a couple of her hand-crafted necklaces. I love them, and just couldn't help wearing them both immediately. I really like how they look together, and with the stripes on my top. Noble Town Vintage is such a great shop, not only does she sell great vintage but Sarah now sells her hand-made jewelry crafted from recycled materials.

I feel like this post is like the opposite of yesterdays, it's all stripey and moody. This is a great example of my go-to outfit for days like today. I just wanted to be comfy and mobile.
What's your go-to outfit?

The winner of the Noble Town Vintage giveaway was Clare, thank you to everyone who entered! I'm hoping to have more giveaways soon, so keep reading!

The necklaces are pretty darn sweet. I work at a small college too, but I feel like it's so high schoolish sometimes.

I love the organic feel to the recycled materials she uses (if that makes sense), will definitely check out her shop. If it makes you feel any better, I'm about to go crazy-lady on everyone at work lately so I know how you feel.

The necklace is gorgeous! You look like a Parisian woman, expressions and all. Now all you need is a cigarette...

The necklaces are a great way to decorate the casual outfit. I think that chain necklace goes well with the nautical theme.

Oh lovely... I've been saying this to anyone who will still listen: I cannot get enough of stripes. You ask what our go-to outfit is right now? You're wearing it. You can't help but look chic in it. Beautiful jewels as well.

Is your top a more recent purchase at H&M? I'm completely wanting a stripy top or two, or three for this summer! And I really really like your, A LOT!

My go-to outfit this week has been my black BDG denim leggings, an oversized grey, v-neck t-shirt and slip ons. Not at all exciting, but defintely comfy.

Your necklaces are lovely.

Go-To: pretty much the same as you, but I always have a cardigan/sweater/hoodie ready, because I am eternally chilly. Unless it's over 80 degrees, then I'm good to go.

I LOVE the simplicity of this outfit! I may just have to copy it soon. And I just got my Nobletown Vintage stuff in the mail; I LOVE them, and will be debuting them on the blog soon!

mmm i love coming home to pets after a hard day too - they're so refreshingly simple and cuddly with no attitude! working in an office environment can become really stifling, can't it?

your outfit is classic and chic as per usual! i love the high bun too - it really creates a lovely and feminine silhouette.

Those necklaces are beautiful! I go to a small highschool and I have a love hate relationship with it. I hate that everyone knows everything about every single move that I make.

Love the stripes! My go-to outfit is actually pretty similar to this, and I was wearing it in a recent post - a striped tee and black skinnies! I've been wearing it way too often lately!

i truly love the soft energy of these photos... you look so demure and unassuming. i know how you feel about working with people you've known for a a while... sometimes it can get cloying and a bit monotonous. good thing you have a sweet hand-crafted necklace to perk up your day :)

I love mixing stripes and layered necklaces. (I wore that combo today!)

Your go-to outfit looks well comfy! My go-to outfit is usually this one green checkered shirt I have with some sort of jeans. Although now it's getting sunnier, it'll definitely switch to tank tops & denim skirt/shorts! Can never fail these outfits.
