I skip meals in the summer hahaha but substitute large amounts of in-season fruits! Peaches, raspberries, strawberries and watermelon are among my favorites!

My favorite summertime meal is hard to pinpoint, but I think it might have to be bruschetta, chilled pasta with olive oil, garlic, and tomatoes, berry lemonade, and mango sorbet for dessert. Foodgasm.

Favorite summertime meal-has to involve corn. It's the corn pizza with roasted bell peppers, garlic olive oil, onions and lemon from a local pizza collective here in Berkeley-Cheeseboard Pizza. Love the bag! I would have to say that my favorite summertime meal is a lobster roll with a lime rickey. Growing up in Maine, that meal immediately reminds me of summer fairs and nights by the water.

I'm such a Texan -- My favorite summer time meal is to BBQ with my boyfriend and his friend while drinking some Lonestar beers. When I am by myself, I tend to reach for a salad of fresh spinach, sliced cherry tomatoes over a bed of brown rice and topped with some herb and garlic tuna.

My favourite summertime meal is teriyaki shrimp kebabs with lots of ginger in the marinade, skewered with pineapple, and served on a mesclun salad with a quinoa pilaf on the side.

aside from the regular bbq chicken and ribs with corn and tomato and mozz salad, I also love to make a cold pasta salad substituting orzo with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and tons of mint!
I just came home for the first time in over a year and to celebrate, my mom made the most amazing seafood feast--king crab legs, shrimp, corn, green beans and a salad with veggies she grew herself. For dessert--s'mores over the campfire. We ate it outside next to the pond--beautiful welcome home!
To me, summer means real Texas barbecue, watermelon and cantaloupe, cole slaw and iced tea :)
