Just a quick post today...

Sweater: Thrifted ($5)
Jeans: UO (gift)
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell ($60 sale)
Shirt: J.Crew Outlet ($40)
Bracelet: Loan c/o Kdikio Vintage
I woke up this morning to another grey, cloudy, and rainy day, and frankly I couldn't be happier. I love waking up early on these days, taking my time to make coffee and enjoy just being in my home. It was the perfect day to break out this sweater- which I bought in July- that I love. I have such a hard time finding affordable, but well made sweaters, that even though it was July I snatched this up the minute I saw it. I love the camel color and basket weave knit; I knew it would fit into my wardrobe perfectly.

Another piece on loan from Kdikio Vintage! I love the texture of the leather on brass, and I thought it tied in my bright shoes nicely with the rest of the outfit.
I'm keeping things short tonight, it's been a long day and I have another busy one lined up tomorrow. Have a great night!

I love the pop of red with the shoes and that sweater is such a good find.
Also, I love the way you tie/belt sweaters/cardigans sometimes where it overlaps assymetrically.

What a perfect shade of brown on that sweater! It looks so thick and cozy.
We're having unusually hot weather in Portland, seems like we swapped climates for a bit! Sorry, but I'd like to send the heat back to you. :)
You look so gorgeous and warm. I wish our heat wave would dissipate.

I love this. I have been in my mind imagining the different ways I will try to incorporate the color camel into my wardrobe this fall without actually buying the expensively priced camel pieces out there and I keep thinking of wearing a camel sweater with a light denim button down. So you are completely fulfilling my vision right now! Awesome shoes by the way!
Oh Julie, you always seem to pull off the classic outfits so well. This looks so great together and comfty too. Hope I get to see you during nyfw.
Julie, I love this classic and cosy look. The red shoes really finish it off perfectly for me though. Grey days are some of my favourites too, I love snuggling up in wool with a cup of coffee.
These posts are making me completely stoked for fall. I couldn't agree more, that I love it when the air gets crisp and we can break out sweaters. Yours is fantastic.
Have a great week!

Sweaters can get expensive so I too shop for them around summer time. Thats when I find I get the best deals.

I love how the red shoes stand out.
Amazing five-dollar find! I love the color and texture of your sweater. I, too, have a hard time finding affordable sweaters that are also timeless and chic... all the more reason to thrift it up!
I love red shoes :D
I have those shoes. I couldn't believe how comfortable and tall they were and kept mentioning to friends that it was amazing how walkable they are. Then I totally wiped out in a parking lot because of a pebble.
Those red shoes are what dreams are made of.

It was so good to see you yesterday! Since you were coveting my bag, I looked for another and found this one which is close but a bit pricy: http://cgi.ebay.com/Beautiful-El-Campero-Leather-Handbag-Purse-Italy-/150482490776?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item2309749598
I'll keep you in mind if I ever get sick of mine.
Hope to see you again soon!
