A few photos from before the rain. Yesterday we had crazy flooding, and I ended up with a few inches of water in my car. Not fun. I've had this skirt from Ruche for (admittedly) a couple of months, I love the polkadots and uneven hem! I paired it with one of my favorite combinations: black and gold. I think I may be in the minority when I say I love blue and black together, and black and brown too.
I'm keeping today's post super short, things have been crazy around here and I have to run out the door to work! Happy wednesday!

I think the whole "don't wear black/navy black/brown" thing is slowly fading out. Which is awesome, because creativity with clothes is much easier when faux pas just don't exist.

i'm actually wearing blue and black together right now, so you won't hear any complaints about that combo from me! the same goes for black and brown. i think as long as they're in the right shade, the combos can be really great. i am also completely in love with your top knot.. i have super thin hair so my bun could never look that voluminous. you have miles and miles of beautiful hair though, so naturally yours looks like a super stylish cinnabon. that's a compliment, i swear.
