Between my trip to the dentist and trying to avoid the heat: a taco date in Homestead, peeping into storefronts, an ill-planned (but still relaxing) trip to Presque Isle State Park. Next time we'll be bringing our bikes and leaving earlier. Still, it was refreshing to stick my feet into water, dig through the sand, see some seagulls, and watch boats in the distance.

I can't believe how hot it's been in Pittsburgh! A trip to some nearby body of water is in my plans for the 4th.
I love the essence of the old town feel that you captured of older Pittsburgh store fronts! And how awesome that you got to stick your feet in some (clean and clear) water!? I am going home to Indiana this week just to go swimming in our lake...I wish there was a cleaner lake/beach in Pittsburgh that was easy to get to..

It has been SO hot around here, the humidity is what kills me! And I really can't believe it's the 4th! It came waaayy too soon.
