In this outfit:
Jacket: ModCloth (find it here)
Sweater: Thrifted/ Ralph Lauren ($3)
Skirt: ModCloth (off the site, find it here)
Boots: Jeffrey Campbell/ModCloth (old)
Tights: American Apparel Super Opaque ($24)
Belt: Vintage/Avalon ($12)
Bag: Vintage/Thrifted ($10-ish)
Hat: Probably Chris's
Where I wore it: To the office, running errands after work
I bought this skirt over the summer, knowing that it would be perfect for colder weather, and it did not disappoint. This outfit was- quite possibly- the coziest to ever exist, perfect for a morning of snowflakes and Christmas music on my commute to work (am I the only one who gets unreasonably emotional while listening to holiday music?).
In other news: my hair is driving me bananas and, judging by those bags beneath my eyes, I could stand to get a little more sleep.

The snowfall is gorgeous and I'm loving this winter look! It's so different from the "usual" winter outfits that you see in the blogosphere, which I love. That yellow jacket is just perfect.

I ADORE this look! Mustard yellow with black and white is always one of my favorite combos!

This outfit is so great! I love the mustard paired with the black and white print. Um, and how adorable are the little snow flakes falling around you?! I love it!

Aw snow! How fun! I love the print on your skirt and how nice it looks with your adorable yellow jacket.
The print on your skirt paired with the mustard jacket is so, so good. We could all stand to get a bit more sleep these days, I'm sure, but you look as cute and cozy as can be, regardless!

As per usual, I want this outfit! SO damn cute.

Amazing mix of colour, I love this yellow hue...I have a cardigan in a similar colour on hold at work to buy tomorrow aka payday and can't wait!
Planning to wear it with a cream lace tee and black jeans....great minds!
Love the snowy pics too, it's a little frosty here and I'm hoping for snow soon :)

I get emotional also, especially when I hear the first few x-mas songs. It can be quite embarrassing if I'm in a store or in a crowded place...
snow! Love your jacket!
I'm jealous of your snow...although I'm sure I won't be once it's time to drive in it! I also love holiday music (especially the soundtrack from the peanuts christmas movie!) I turn that on the day after thanksgiving ^.^
Loving this outfit Julie! The yellow is a great pop of color in the snowy setting. San Francisco is just kinda dreary and rainy, nothing as romantic as snow. You're braver than I to go out in the elements to snap an outfit photo. Glad to hear that you're staying warm.
XOXO
i love how elegant this look is, the classic cream and bold mustard tone down the wild geometric pattern without muting it. perfect for the early snow!
