This is actually New Years Day. We took a stroll around Smithfield Cemetery, which had caught my eye as I drove to the grocery store earlier in the week, freshly blanketed with snow, the tombstones were especially striking. Returning to a snowy Pittsburgh after the holidays was such a wonderful surprise, that the snow has actually stuck around for a little while is icing on the proverbial cake. After sprinkling our porch railing with bird seed (entertainment for a bored indoor cat), I love seeing all the little bird and rabbit tracks that dot the snow each morning.

So magical but similarly eerie; like something from Harry Potter! x
