I don't know why it's taken me so long to get Dolly up here, she's one of my favorites. Sure she's kitchy and cute, but I love her for her optimism. She always seems optimistic and sunny.

Love me some Dolly. Have you ever been to Dollywood? The area she's from is so kitschy and over the top (and has amazing biscuits and fried apple pies). :)
And have you read her book? It reads just like she's talking to you and giving you advice - super cute :)
I just love Dolly. I've heard her in interviews and she seems so down-to-earth and fun.
I adore Dolly Parton, too! I am trying to have a more "Dolly" outlook on life lately. ;]
She is one of my favorites! I just watched The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas for the first time (as well as re-watching Steel Magnolias and 9 to 5), and I cannot get over how gorgeous and likable she is. Not only that, but I think she's also a terrific actress, even though she's seen as mostly a singer/songwriter. I'm a huge fan :)
