What I wore:
Denim jacket: Vintage Lee/ Avalon ($18)
Cardigan: J.Crew
Dress: Beacon's Closet ($12)
Tights: Free People ($9 sale)
Boots: Vintage Justin/ Thrifted ($7)
Necklaces: Gift/ Flea market/ c/o from closed shop
Bracelet c/o Lulu's

Where I wore it: to the office

A few more items unearthed from the back of my closet. These boots, while I don't wear them very often, are one of my greatest thrift scores to date. Mint condition Justin ropers? Hell yes. I bought them a few years ago when we were still in Massachusetts, there was a girl checking them out at the thrift store and I feigned disinterest until she decided against them and set them back on the shelf, and then I swooped in, grabbed them, and walked away. One big rule of successful thrift shopping? If you're undecided, put it in the cart, you can decide later. Otherwise, someone like me- who is only pretending to try on those 80s heels- might be lurking in the shadows to snatch up those boots. The more you know.

Also, it felt like spring yesterday and the birds felt it too because they are chirping like mad, but now this rocky sidewalk location is blanketed in six inches of snow. Weather!

Haha I've definitely pulled the same move as you in the thrift store before.

Oh my goodness, YES to putting the item your cart if unsure! I've nearly leapt over obstacles to snatch a coveted item off the rack at the thrift stores for fear of someone else getting to it first. It could be a sport, thrifting.

That thrifting story is too funny! Where did you go shopping in MA? Everywhere I got is either not good quality or way too pricey.

LOVE that roses dress! I love how versatile this outfit is. My favorite pieces are ones that can span over at least 3 seasons of the year, and these could work with all 4!

Love the floral dress, but THOSE BOOTS really have my heart- what an amazing find!!! I had to do the same thing the other week while thrifting in the dress section. Usually, I have all the oversized old dresses to myself while looking, but there was an 80 year old woman in front of me picking up EVERY single floral piece she saw while I tried to not look interested!
Anyway, hope you're having a great day!

Haha. I've definitely both been a thrift store lurker and been lurked in a thrift store. What a bunch of weirdos us thrift shoppers are. Love the denim jacket, I just bought a new one and can't wait for some warmer temps to break it out.

Ha! Sounds accurate. Though, I usually just end up being too lazy to put anything back and just buy everything in my cart. Something about leaving treasure behind makes me feel uneasy. I can always sell what doesn't work/fit. :)
